About us
Smartlogic has been successfully developing and selling IP products for FPGAs at its headquarters in Hildrizhausen (near Stuttgart in Southern Germany) for over 10 years. One focus is on IP cores with the protocols PCI Express, Ethernet, AXI and AXI Stream, which are successfully used in many projects.
Customers come from a wide variety of sub-sectors of the electrical industry and include well-known companies from the fields of: Medical Technology, Automotive Industry, Industrial Automation and others. The demand for PCI Express solutions is constantly growing across all industries.
About the company founder
Thomas Zerrer founded Smartlogic GmbH in 2005 and focused the company on the then still new protocol standard “PCI Express” from the very beginning. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and held various positions at large and medium-sized companies until the company was founded.
Today he is a regular speaker on various topics around PCI Express at conferences like the FPGA Conference Europe.
